Easter Eve

We had a great day today. Grandma Sherrie has to work Easter Sunday (BOOOO!!!) so we went to her house for an early Easter celebration. She cooked us dinner and strawberry shortcake -- delish! There was of course some Easter candy readily available and Izzypop ate an entire chocolate bunny. Thanks Grandma Sherrie for a great time, as always!

After dinner, we came home and got to the all-important egg dying festivities.

The kit we got this year came with pretty much everything -- paint, stickers, glue and sand. No crayon, though...weird. Iz thoroughly enjoyed the paint.

My favorite way to dye Easter eggs is tie-dying. I thought Iz would love it -- she could have cared less. :) Skeeto took much more interest. He helped me unwrap one.

Ten seconds later, it became Beatrice fodder.
